Railay Bay Resort & Spa offers a transfer service from Krabi International Airport at an additional charge. Guests are kindly requested to inform the property in advance if they wish to make use of this service. Contact details can be found on the booking confirmation.

The resort can only be accessed by a long-tail boat. From Krabi Airport, guests will have to take a taxi to Ao Nam Mao Pier or Aonang Beach to catch a boat to Railay Beach. The resort is located next to the Railay Pier.

Please note that the name of the guest on booking confirmation must be the same name as the credit card holder. Guest must present the same credit card used to guarantee the booking when checking in or making payment at the hotel. The hotel will collect a new payment if guests fail to present their credit card upon check-in.

Good hotel for family vacation away from the crowd .

It was a perfect location for a family vacation.The ambience around the resort was perfect and it was very clean all around .The breakfast was good and the staffs were very prompt to all our needs .

The place needs maintainance .We booked three rooms , and every room somehow had a problem.One of the room toilet flush was not working well, another room AC was not working most of the time , and the other room had a very bad smells feels like the smell coming from the drainage system .Though the staffs were made aware of these flaws but i think that is not in their power to fix things overnight .

What was the highlight of Railay Bay Resort & Spa

We had a memorable stay and enjoyed a delicious Christmas dinner on the beach.

The reception staff were reluctant to make special arrangements to accommodate two children. They wanted to provide only one small bed and suggested that the other child sleep in the bed with my wife and I. Fortunately my brother and sister-in-law were booked in as well and we convinced staff to carry a second bed from their room. The restaurant is quite expensive so we took all our meals in the tourist area.

Hotel was great. Number of long boats/day trippers made beach unenjoyable. Would not return.

Breakfast was good - especially the coffee. Mini bar being included in price was a bonus.

Water was lukewarm; couldn't take a hot bath at end of day. Ferry service to get to Railay was horrible (not hotel's fault).

we had an amazing stay at Railay mixed with relaxation by beach/pool side aswell as exploring caves

The location was amazing and so close to the Krabi strip. The room was super lovely with great Aircon and privacy off the main walk paths. The pool on the beach side was stunning. Overall our expectations were exceeded and we had a fantastic time

The pool looked larger on the pictures but it was still lovely even with it being quite busy! there probably could of been more sunbeds but we managed to get for most of the holiday. The main restaurant prices are expensive, however the strip is a short walk away which has loads of restaurants and food places to choose from so wasn't an issue. there was only 1 pool toilet so that wasn't great but you could just walk couple mins.

Good spot to enjoy Railay Bay & island hop

Property location on Railay bay is optimal and beautiful to enjoy the space and surrounding islands. The resort transfer from Krabi is a must! Don’t get stuck dragging your luggage through the sand! Book the somewhat overpriced transfer, longtail to Railay bay east, then tractor from the water to the island then buggy around to reception on the west side. A good location to island hop, keep in mind the jellyfish are seasonal/ tidal.

The pool area on the beach was a little dated and people who weren’t guests were allowed to use the pool & chairs. There was never any chairs available throughout the day. The second pool was beautiful and quiet however full of mismatched and broken furniture around it and couldn’t get any drinks or service around it. The resort itself is quite expensive. Breakfast is a let down, the club sandwich has spam not bacon.

The location of the hotel is great. The rooms are of a high standard and very clean.

Breakfast, unfortunately, leaves much to be desired, most dishes are of poor quality and not tasty.

Good

Lovely location and easy access to the resort. Villa was good and pools lovely. Breakfast was adequate and staff accommodating.

The entrance to the spa villas have a water feature full of frogs. If you have a phobia then this isn’t ideal. Fridge wasn’t very cold and there was no where to hang wet clothes and towels. Some sort of outside bamboo ladder or rail would be ideal.

First time on Railay beach

Very nice location and great swimming pool next to the beach. Large room.

The pillows are not comfortable. Need a good management when customers arrive at front desk at the same time due to same boat pick up for arrival.

Railway Bay March 2021

Amazingly beautiful location very much enhanced by the lack of other tourists.

Unfortunately the spa was closed due to covid and the restaurant menu was limited for the same reason.

Recommend to stay here

The resort happily allowed us to switch rooms and even brought us to see everyone type of room they had available. We ended up switching and loved the room we ended up in. It was close to the beach and was very spacious. The cleaners did a great job everyday and were very consistent with their timings. We didn't use the pool too much but they have two, one in the middle of the property and one over looking the beach and both were great.

We ended up changing rooms as the one we had seemed very old and had a musty smell. The breakfast was very simple but we didn't overly like it. Our expectations were much higher as we had dinner the night we landed and the food was great, so we were sadly disappointed with breakfast.

Beautiful location, stunning sunsets, friendly staff, excellent service, comfortable beds, clean and tidy all round.

There should maybe be an egg station in the morning at breakfast, every morning choice is very limited.

Comfortable resort near a famous beach!

Big enough room and pool with bar by the beach with reasonable price.

Just be in the know that your room might be a little far from the beach actually almost on the east side. But don't let this stop you the staff handle this by moving you around the resort with a club car rather quickly.

Joining Railay east and west beaches hotel

Rather big hotel built in a Thai style which makes it very nice. Rooms and villas surrounded by a beautiful garden. One swimming pool on the beach with a very nice view and the other in the middle of the hotel with green garden around it. We had a deluxe room which was a large room with bath and shower also a confortable terrace. We had monkeys passing by our terrace in the morning. We arrived with a private long tail boat on west beach and left with public long tail on east beach. The hotel proposed transport but we organized it ourselves. We had a very promotion price due to COVID so we consider we had a really good price/service ratio. The breakfast was probably not the usual one but decent for the price. We tried the restaurant but we did not particularly appreciate, not an issue as there were still a few restaurants open in the walking street.

The staff was professional an de efficient but not the usual welcoming feeling we experience in Thailand
